Just kind of wish Soderbergh had directed this and maybe held off on relinquishing directing duties until Ocean’s Nine and Ocean’s Ten. I’ll still cross my fingers and hope those get made at some point. Can’t have enough star studded heist movies in my opinion.

- jacxcxDecember 8, 2025Not a movie that particularly struck me. But I’m a huge fan of the Met Gala and everything that revolves around celebrity life, and seeing so many of them even just as extras was really cool, so that whole part I liked a lot.
- Gabriel Ruas Santos Rocha (read below)September 5, 2025A very entertaining Saturday afternoon movie that tries to stay in line with the other Ocean’s flicks but skids a bit on the road to success. Still, this group of women works well together and the chemistry between Blanchett and Bullock is really enjoyable. There are hints at a sequel, perhaps blended with the rest of the Oceans, that to me sounds like it could be extremely funny, in a chaotic way. For now enjoy the 8 you’ll have a good time!

- Mister ArnOctober 12, 2024Ocean's 8 has its moments, but they are very few. It might have been better if just took the original Soderbergh movie and changed the characters to women with the necessary corrections to the backstories.
