- RyezooFebruary 14, 2025As excellent as when I saw it over 6 years ago. The story, symbolism, and camera work is top notch sci-fi. Rain Johnson has a way of telling stories and this kept me on edge of my seat even on the second viewing! I still also LOVE the ending!
- COCOFebruary 11, 2025Been sleeping on this one for way too long and what a huge surprise. I've been meaning to watch Looper for quite sometime now and wasn't disappointed. It's an intelligent, thought provoking film about toxic masculinity, memory, and the nature of reality. Time-travel is a plot device, not a plot line, as the film exceptionally proves through it’s concise story. Joesph-Gordon Levitt proves himself time and again. Emily Blunt is a masterpiece in anything she’s in. Has some traces of the X-Men franchise mixed with Chronicle sprinkled throughout it which surprisingly blends really well.
