Looper Ratings & Reviews
- GrimeFiVideoJuly 21, 2025Fantastic sci-fi film, one I can watch over and over.
- RyezooFebruary 14, 2025As excellent as when I saw it over 6 years ago. The story, symbolism, and camera work is top notch sci-fi. Rain Johnson has a way of telling stories and this kept me on edge of my seat even on the second viewing! I still also LOVE the ending!
- mickerdooJuly 7, 2025I like the time travel rules. Don't think it was necessary to mess JGLs face up that much. Keeps surprising you. Cool future representation.
- tellumJune 26, 2025Very unique take on the time travel genre, and great acting all around.
- Michael SurberApril 22, 2025This film has it all for me. First reason, the holy trinity of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt alone would get me to watch. Second reason, time travel. Throw in a decent script and a novel twist or two and it's a great way to spend a couple of hours.
- COCOFebruary 11, 2025Been sleeping on this one for way too long and what a huge surprise. I've been meaning to watch Looper for quite sometime now and wasn't disappointed. It's an intelligent, thought provoking film about toxic masculinity, memory, and the nature of reality. Time-travel is a plot device, not a plot line, as the film exceptionally proves through it’s concise story. Joesph-Gordon Levitt proves himself time and again. Emily Blunt is a masterpiece in anything she’s in. Has some traces of the X-Men franchise mixed with Chronicle sprinkled throughout it which surprisingly blends really well.
