Mel Gibson and Danny Glover have incredible chemistry, and the dynamic between their characters is what really makes the movie shine. The mix of intense action, smart writing, and a little humor is perfect. While some parts feel a bit dated, it’s still packed with great fight scenes and memorable moments. If you’re a fan of 80s action, this is definitely a must-watch.
- jackmeat21 août 2025My quick rating - 7.8/10. Since plex dropped that other action flick into my "Tis the Season" library, why not refresh myself with another classic? Last time I watched this, 1080P wasn't even remotely a thing. This movie redefined the buddy cop movie and solidified Mel Gibson as a top box office star. The chemistry between the two actors is what made this legendary. Not going to get too full-blown since I am sure nearly all have seen this. Still a good one to bust out for the holidays.
