- Icezpider7d agoMagical ending to the trilogy
- The Gutter MonkeyOctober 17, 2024A trilogy that's been 3 for 3 — with this last entry perhaps being its best.
- BradShortJuly 18, 2025Brill send off to one of the best series of marvel films
- Michael McCrayMay 30, 2025Excellent movie. I loved it, I need more
- JoelJuly 16, 2025Screw it, this movie deserves 5 stars. This is my 3rd rewatch and I’ve liked the movie more every time I watch it. Every single character gets their own beautiful moment to shine. Gunn walks the tightrope perfectly between the deeper moments while still having downright hilarious moments. I already loved Superman, but if James Gunn can bring this level of emotion to his Superman sequels we might be in for some all timers.
- mickerdooJuly 6, 2025An enjoyable watch. But felt like small potatoes after 1 & 2. Liked Rocket storyline, but should have been secondary. Didn't like resolution.
- Kevin WardJuly 2, 2025The most fun I’ve had at a Marvel movie in quite some time. The humor really works well with these characters, particularly the Drax-centric humor, which pretty much always hits. James Gunn has a genuinely great handle on all of these characters. The visuals looked stellar, especially in IMAX. The action set pieces were exciting and exceptionally well-realized, especially the corridor fight sequence. The film is not without issues, though. Several flashback sequences shed light on Rocket’s origins. Some flow smoothly with the rest of the narrative, but others feel out of place and drag the pace. No spoilers, but the Marvel fake death trope rears its ugly head (I won’t say how many times). But anytime there was a moment that had me scratching my head, in the next moment, the action or the humor picked back up and reminded me of what a great time I was having. The finale and the wrap-up felt pretty clunky to me—as in, the directions the characters are headed when the movie ends felt unnatural. But at the same time, it felt like a fitting conclusion to this group in its current make-up, with some of the character arcs coming full circle. Really really fun time at the theater, and the 90’s needle drops….🤌
- douglascraigenApril 19, 2025I waited way too long to watch this movie. I cried real tears at the end.
- cultfilmlikerApril 15, 2025Ruthless Gamora was fun! Really not a huge fan of the cast or acting otherwise! Poultsr anf Bakalova deserve better! The handicapped friends subplot and themes were weird and off-putting imo. I’m allowed to say that Found the villain boring and annoying. We’ve all seen X-Men. Also some terrible plot resolutions! What a time to choose to stand up to the leader lmao very fitting James went to DC Was not ready for a Flaming Lips needle drop James Gunn’s really stuck in the 20th century, huh. He’s really going all out to keep getting his brother jobs tho! Fun to abhor hearing a Beastie Boys song in a film!
- Christopher ParkNovember 11, 2024Not possible to NOT love this movie! So damn cool!
