Great action horrible realism, at 39:00-40:00 how every bullet misses was not debatable somehow everyone losing there sense when main characters are in the crosshairs and the ATV driver being able to last the longest while being the only person NOT protected by bullet proof windows was hilariously bad!?

Maybe third time’s the charm: we won’t know until they make it.

The good news is I enjoyed this one a slight bit more than the first, even. Extraction 2 is an adrenaline-fueled sequel that improves on the foundation laid down by the first film and propels us on yet another adrenaline-packed ride. If the first one was a thrill ride due to its intense action scenes, be prepared for something even more exciting this time. The movie gets off to a flying start and delves straight into its gritty and dangerous world. Action sequences, long and well-choreographed, fill the screen, leaving you gasping for breath as you watch awe-inspiring feats of stunt work, adrenaline-fueled gun battles, and heart-stopping hand-to-hand combat. The action is carefully calibrated so that every step of the way, the sequence can be executed with perfect precision, showcasing the amazing physicality of the characters. I was also quite impressed with the location and scenery. The film takes us on a world tour, moving you from exotic locations all around the world. From the bustling streets of a sprawling metropolis to the remote, breathtaking landscapes of the distant countryside, the visuals contribute significantly to the overall atmosphere and tension of the film. Chris Hemsworth once again shines in his role as the charismatic protagonist. His portrayal of Tyler Rake is both physically commanding and emotionally balanced, allowing the audience to connect with his character on a deeper level. The supporting cast also delivers commendable performances, adding layers to the story and elevating the stakes in their pursuit of survival. - macaronzAugust 9, 2026Bigger, Bolder, and Packed With Insane Action: Tyler Rake is Back! Chris is back for a new mission in Georgia after surviving the first movie, and Extraction 2 does not disappoint! Honestly, the action in this sequel is just as good as the original maybe even better. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, especially the jaw-dropping train sequence which is an absolute standout and feels like it was shot in a single unbroken take. While the story feels a bit recycled, action is the main core of this franchise, and this film delivers it in spades. The 2 hour runtime flies by because the action never stops. Highly recommended, and seriously counting down the days for Part 3 early next year!
