Set in 1979 a psychotic sex toy maker kidnaps his ex-girlfriends sister and holds her hostage for their pet dog Elvis. His ex (an actress) her new lover (a TV writer) and their two best friends drive out into the desert to make the swap. What follows is a dark, comedic chase through the desert. A David Lynch/Jim Jarmusch style film in the vein of Wild At Heart and Down By Law.
