Deadpool Ratings & Reviews
- Mister ArnMay 15, 2025Sarcastic superhero dropping one-liners more often then he drops the bad guys.
- Manuel FrangisMarch 23, 2025I just watched Deadpool again and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is everything a superhero comedy should be. It is fast, hilarious, action packed, and completely unapologetic about how ridiculous and over the top it is. From the very first scene, you know exactly what kind of movie you are getting into and it never slows down. Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. He completely disappears into the role and brings the perfect mix of sarcasm, chaos, and heart. Every line he delivers is on point, and the way he breaks the fourth wall constantly just adds to the fun. He is self aware, loud, violent, and somehow still lovable. There is never a dull moment when he is on screen, and his performance is a huge reason why this movie works so well. The story is simple but effective. It follows Wade Wilson, a former special forces guy who becomes Deadpool after going through a brutal experiment that leaves him with powers and a seriously messed up face. He goes on a mission for revenge while cracking jokes, fighting bad guys, and causing as much destruction as possible along the way. The humor is one of the best parts of the movie. It is fast, sharp, dirty, and completely unfiltered. Deadpool is not afraid to say anything and everything, and the jokes never stop. Some are clever, some are just dumb fun, and others are so wild you cannot believe they made it into a superhero movie. But they all land. The action scenes are awesome. They are full of slow motion, brutal hand to hand combat, insane shootouts, and creative kills. Everything feels slick and well choreographed, but with that extra flair that makes it feel like Deadpool is just having fun while blowing things up. The violence is definitely intense, but it fits the tone perfectly. The supporting cast also adds a lot. Colossus is a hilarious contrast to Deadpool’s madness, acting like the moral compass and trying to keep things clean. Negasonic Teenage Warhead is also great with her deadpan reactions and cool attitude. Even the villain is solid and gives Deadpool a good reason to go completely unhinged. The pacing is tight. The movie never drags or wastes time. It bounces between past and present in a way that actually works, giving you the backstory without slowing down the action. Every scene either moves the story forward or gives you more jokes, and there is no filler. Another thing I really like is how different this movie feels from other superhero movies. It is smaller in scale, more personal, and totally focused on being fun instead of saving the world. It is not trying to be deep or complicated, it just wants to be awesome, and it pulls it off. The reason I give it 5 out of 5 stars is because it delivers exactly what it promises and then some. It is funny, wild, violent, and somehow still has just enough heart to make you care. Ryan Reynolds kills it, the writing is sharp, and the whole vibe of the movie is just cool. Overall Deadpool is one of the best comic book movies ever made. It broke the rules in all the best ways and showed that superhero movies can be hilarious and insane while still being great. I loved every second of it and I will definitely keep watching it over and over again.
- HumptyFebruary 23, 2025Me and my homies love Deadpool.
- 匚卂尺ㄥJanuary 26, 2025Waited a long time to see this and after all the hype wasn't sure it was my kind of film. Also never really liked a Ryan Reynolds film. Have to say this was action, emotion, good acting, funny, sad. A great film.
- RyezooFebruary 20, 2025Totally nailed it! It's about time that Ryan Reynolds gave us a great movie after all the bombs he's been in. He is literally Deadpool. They successfully delivers on the R-rating and the hype. The jokes come fast and the action extremely violent. I was laughing consistently throughout the whole film and so was the theater I saw it with. The meta humor was spot on. I also appreciated that the story was non-linear. Made the pacing go at a perfect pace. With so many jokes, I'm sure I missed a few one liners, which makes it an even better reason to see this film again. One of the best comic book movies to date
