Crash Ratings & Reviews
- Charles LondonMarch 16, 2025Surprise winner for Best Picture at the 2005 Oscars, but it shouldn't have been a surprise. The Academy got it right. It was a great movie then and still is 20 years later.
- dvanghelFebruary 17, 2025Some of the most heavy handed, on the nose writing ever released by a major studio. Any one of the storylines may have worked as a singular, but all in unison they come across as a satirical caricature. The dialogue in every scene beats us over the head with a sack full of capital R racism. Real racism is prevalent and subtle. This is neither.
- tellum5d agoI’m very judgmental for saying this, but liking this movie means you are ok with a racist sex offender being redeemed because he did his job. This is a major plot point of the movie that bothered me since release and legitimately frustrates me because there are plenty of people who save lives and benefit society, and they don’t ever sexually assault women or racially profile. The messaging in this movie is horrendous and always has been, and is an indictment on the Academy for awarding this garbage.
- Bootsy StevensonMarch 6, 2025A great great movie
