Biutiful Ratings & Reviews
- 0 1December 16, 2025Biutiful is a bleak, emotionally punishing film that refuses to romanticize suffering, but that’s exactly what gives it its power. Set in the margins of Barcelona rather than the postcard version, the movie follows Uxbal as he stumbles through guilt, illness, and moral compromise, and planning the end of his life.
- kozaw275November 12, 2025Tragic ending made me sad
- pipanniSeptember 10, 2025A great movie in the same league as "The Passion of the Christ", meaning that even though it's a deep and memorable experience, I don't ever want to see it again. Uber depressing. And because Javier Bardem is an excelent actor, you feel all the pain he's going through, completely unfiltered.
- alihoneycuttSeptember 1, 2025Good film. Sad. Bleak. But for Bardem's performance and Inarritu's directing, 2 stars. Talented filmmakers.
