An alien black box is found in the South Pole, where a government agency is conducting botanical experiments.
- jkimball3dSeptember 22, 2026Was not expecting this to be so good. It's a slow burn but this is a great sci-fi movie. Intelligently written and well executed. The acting is great all around and Spader felt like a perfect fit for this role. The effects are a bit dated, to be expected from early 2000s era CG, but they get the job done. The worst thing I can say about this movie is it has a pretty bad title and cheesy looking cover art.
