Really amazing anime. Gomechan and Avan carried the show. I wasn’t always a fan of the CGI style, but regardless, the animation was still good. Popp had some of the best character growth I’ve seen in anime, Maam represented virtue and kindness, and Dai was the kind of hero who struggled but always kept moving forward. Even the villains become characters you respect. The ending is bittersweet, and that’s part of why it sticks with you. Overall, great anime.Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai (2020)
