It is more thought provoking and has more character depth than many dramas while still maintaining a sense of levity. It also is one of the only shows that manages to have clear progression from episode while still allowing each episode to stand well on its own. Overall, a standout example of western animation that can be enjoyed by people of any age.
- LD_50July 7, 2026It really is the perfect show. I watched bits and pieces of the show growing up, and I knew some of the major scenes and plot points from memory. But watching this now as a much more critical adult, I believe this show has aged gracefully with themes that will resonate deeply with anyone. A perfect balance of characters with well written arcs, endearing struggles, and admirable strength in their own unique ways, I found myself being impressed by the incredible depth and nuance of every single character in this story. It is quite amazing to see how much was attempted and accomplished for a show in the early 2000's, and a kid's show at that. Truly a masterpiece, deserving of all the praise it has and will continue to receive.

Not only would I recomend this, I think it should be required viewing in most educational inviorments.
