Wayward Pines Ratings & Reviews
- DrewFebruary 20, 2026Sadly good idea, poor execution even with a good cast. Like most TV shows, the drama ends if people just talked it out. The first season is decent-ish, with decent casting, but they revealed the secret far too soon and tried to make a drama out of it. The second season starts and no one is a worthwhile returning chracter except one and they off themselves in the first episode all the while trying to recreate season 1 character development in a single episode with nearly all new staff. Feels disengenious or if everyone thought season 1 was the end and after it was shot they're like, yea give us season 2 and everyone is like welp, dammit, let's figure something out. Meh. All the usual tropes are here too, climate change being what kills people, white guys in the bad guy role, husband wife just not talking and making unilateral secret decisions that cause drama, it's quite eye rolling. Skip it, you're not missing anything.
- Julie JonesJanuary 12, 2026Brilliant and full of twists a must watch lots of mystery.pity there wasn't another series!
