DCI Vera Stanhope finds herself drawn to the enchanting tidal island of Lindisfarne, where a group of lifelong friends reunites every five years to commemorate their enduring bond. As the tide rises, long-concealed secrets begin to surface, threatening to engulf everyone involved.
