The story of the life of Valery Obodzinsky, one of the brightest representatives of the Soviet stage and a man of amazing destiny. A simple guy from Odessa, he becomes a real superstar in the USSR. Obodzinsky is not like everyone else: he does not walk in the General ranks and does not sing hymns to the Komsomol. It seems that his fantastic tenor was created to sing about a Woman. But over time, uncompromising and otherness block his way to the stage. And one day the singer simply disappears... only years later, a devoted fan recognizes Obodzinsky in the watchman from the tie factory and literally saves him, returning him to life and creativity.
