- Megan CruzApril 9, 2025Sam effing Rockwell. What a monologue. I’m floored. The thing I love about this show is the way it has you switching allegiances with every episode. Last episode Kate really lost me, but in episode five, I was incredibly grateful for her kicking those dudes out of their rooms. Jaclyn and Laurie both crashing out in different ways is setting up some incredible drama that I’m sure is going to break my heart. Piper, on the other hand. I have known exactly who she is from the jump and the level of entitlement she’s operating with is just too much for me. Her mother might be a comically arrogant, sociopathic narcissist but she knows who she is and I can at least respect that. Belinda has been a fascinating character to watch in this setting. Someone experiencing luxury in the way she has provided to others forever is definitely creating some interesting internal conflict and I am so glad she immediately recognized the real danger of Greg. It’s been a shame that so far this hotel manager had felt a little lackluster character wise. Germans are so delightfully weird and I want to see him pushed to the limit. Can’t even get into Saxon and Lochlan… yikes.
