In the knockout rounds, Season 3's Cassadee Pope advises Team Kelly, Season 9's Jordan Smith advises Team Adam, Season 12's Chris Blue advises Team Alicia, and last season's Chloe Kohanski advises Team Blake. Each coach chooses the winner of their pairing to move on to the Live Playoff shows. In a new twist, the coaches have the opportunity to save one of their artists in addition to being able to steal someone that would otherwise go home.
