The Saint is a modern-day Robin Hood of sorts; he prevents criminals from succeeding. Where a reward is offered, or where the criminal's loot is not discovered or disappears, he keeps it to cover his expenses. Simon Templar must always stay one step ahead of the law. Fortunately, his wit, charm, and knowledge of a criminal's ways make this a fairly easy task.

    The Queen's RansomIn Monte Carlo, the Saint saves the life of Fallouda, former king of Fedyra. Fallouda tells Templar of his plan to return to the throne, raising the money by selling his wife's jewelry. The king asks Simon to accompany her to Zurich to get the jewels. Soon after the pair set out on the journey, troubles begin.
  • Interlude in Venice

    Interlude in VeniceIn Venice, the Saint comes to the aid of Cathy Allardyce when she's found next to the dead body of Prince Ubaldo. He'd been secretly supported by 'Foots' Fortunati, a gangster who'd been using the Prince in several cons. Now Fortunati's out for revenge, because he holds Cathy's father, John, responsible for his brother's death. Templar sets out to save Cathy and her family, and stop Fortunati.

    The Russian PrisonerWhilst on holiday in Switzerland, the Saint's approached by a young woman, who says she'd been raised in Sweden by her mother, at the behest of her father, a Russian professor. He's just arrived in Geneva, to attend a conference, and is anxious to defect. The professor's being held prisoner in a chateau by security, and Irma begs Simon to free him. A plot's hatched, but inevitably, not all is what it seems to be.

    The Convenient MonsterA man and a dog are both killed by the shores of Loch Ness by what would appear to have been the Monster. Local author Noel Bastion and his wife Eleanor, a former big game hunter, agree to help Simon keep watch in case the Monster appears, but Templar comes upon a castle ruin with a cellar containing gas tanks and a huge club, then somebody tries to kill him. Has somebody purposely created a false monster? And if so, why?

    The Angel's EyeLord Cranmore's anxious to sell a family diamond, and Templar rides shotgun when Cranmore's employee and his daughter go to Amsterdam to have the diamond cut. But once there, the diamond's stolen whilst the cutter himself denies ever seeing it.

However, on arrival, Eric finds his father's already dead. Hanya, his father's assistant, Eric and Templar must now make it back to the West, destroy the list, whilst being pursued by the Stasi.

    Locate and DestroyIn South America, the Saint helps a man escape from men who are trying to kidnap him. In gratitude, the man brings Templar to his house. Templar is approached by one of the gunmen, telling him the man he helped is a Nazi war criminal, and that he is an Israeli agent sent to bring the man to justice.
  • Flight Plan

    Flight PlanThe Osprey is a new experimental plane and was being test-flown by Flight Lieutenant Mike Gregory until his recent court-martial. Now Middle Eastern agents are using Mike to steal the plane, kidnapping his sister Diane. Having rescued Diane, the Saint goes after Mike, getting himself parachuted into unknown territory to fly the Osprey home.
  • Escape Route

    Escape RouteThe Saint's caught burgling a house and sentenced to 10 years in prison - where he's visited by Inspector Teal. The 2 are working together and the Simon's acting as an undercover agent to investigate a spate of recent escapes from the jail. He's approached by an inmate who claims that for £50,000 he can be sprung. Sure enough, a helicopter arrives to get him out. Now Templar must find out who's behind the escapes.
  • The Persistent Patriots

    The Persistent PatriotsHaving saved the life of the married prime minister of the newly independent former British colony, the Saint's called upon again to help Liskard, when he becomes the target of blackmail, over some letters he once wrote to a young woman named Mary.
  • The Fast Women

    The Fast WomenAt Brands Hatch motor racing circuit, the Saint meets Cynthia Quillen and Teresa Montesino, 2 racing drivers who are deadly rivals. Whilst Simon's testing Cynthia's car, he discovers it's been sabotaged. He also intercepts an assassin out to murder Cynthia with a high-powered rifle, but the killer's murdered before he can tell Templar who wants Cynthia dead.
  • The Death Game

    The Death GameOne night, the Saint gets himself involved with the 'death game'. It's a game which has sprung up amongst university students who compete against each other. After the tutor of some students tells Templar he thinks there's far more nefarious motive, he's killed.
  • The Art Collectors

    The Art CollectorsIn Paris, the Saint meets Natasha, who says she wishes to sell some priceless paintings. They contact an art dealer. but he's intercepted by phony policemen who tell Natasha Templar's killed the dealer and taken the paintings from her. Though Simon convinces Natasha of his innocence, he has to work hard to hold on to paintings and bring the real killers to justice.
  • To Kill a Saint

    To Kill a SaintIn Paris, somebody tricks shady nightclub owner, Paul Verrier into believing the Saint's trying to kill him. He hires people to kill Templar, first. A young woman tells Templar she wants to get close to Verrier as she believes he killed her father.
  • The Counterfeit Countess

    The Counterfeit CountessThe Saint goes to investigate a plane crash in an English field. The pilot's disappeared, leaving large amounts of forged bank notes. Templar tracks down the pilot's home, only to discover the man's been killed. Simon locates the dead man's fiancée in Paris. Clues lead Templar to the villa of a countess, who's not only a counterfeiter, but something of a counterfeit herself.

    Simon and DelilahTemperamental Italian film star, Serena Harris's kidnapped from the set of a film she's starring in. Though the Saint manages to locate her, given her unpopularity, there's a large number of suspects to choose as the instigator of her abduction.

    Island of ChanceThe Saint flies to the Caribbean at the behest of a friend who's killed before he can explain why he needed to see him. The man worked for Dr. Krayford, a renowned scientist looking for a revolutionary vaccine, who's been staying at the property of benefactor, the wealthy Arlene Brand, Templar and journalist, Marla, go to Ms Brand's, but instead of finding answers, more people are killed.
  • The Gadget Lovers

    The Gadget LoversFollowing the deaths of several Soviet agents, the Saint's assigned to protect Russian colonel Smolenko, who's traveling by train to Paris. After an attempt leads them to Switzerland, Templar and the colonel fly there to find out who - and why is behind the attempts at murder.

    A Double in DiamondsA highly valuable necklace is stolen from Lord Gillingham - by his secretary, Kate, who kills the jeweller in the process. The necklace is discovered at a fashion parade... or is it? A double switch seems to be on the cards when his lordship gets a phone call saying he can have the necklace back; if he pays £10thousand. What would anybody do in such a predicament but ring the Saint?

    When Spring Is SprungThe Saint's approached by British intelligence, when they learn the Russians are planning to free a Russian spy, when he appears at Her Majesty's court. Since he's agreed to be a double agent, Simon's asked to ensure he eludes the Russians. Templar's not convinced all parties are telling the truth and carries on with his own option.
  • The Gadic Collection

    The Gadic CollectionThe Gadic collection is the priceless centrepiece of an art exhibition at the Museum in Turkey, and several groups of people want it. Most notably, the wealthy art collector, Turin, who's certain the Saint's taken the collection. In an effort to obtain it for himself and discover its whereabouts, he imprisons Templar.
