A boy is chased by Nazo's men, but is saved by Takeru and Marie, who happen to be with him. The target is a letter and a photograph in the boy's possession. They were sent by his brother, who disappeared during an expedition in the Melba region as assistant to the geologist Crewe. The boy and Takeru go there and look for the shipment. However, the dark forest where the monsters live is marked only by an eerie skeletal trail.・・・・・・
