It felt like fantasy the way it used to be: tactile, emotional and deeply weird. Rian, Deet, Brea, they weren’t just characters, they were echoes of childhood wonder. And Aughra? Still the cosmic crone we didn’t know we needed. The voice cast was stacked (Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, Mark Hamill, Simon Pegg) and the music swelled with epic weight. But then,silence. No second season. No resolution. Just a cliffhanger and a cancellation that felt like betrayal. In an age of endless CGI and safe storytelling, Age of Resistance dared to be different And it paid the price. Still, what we got was magic.
