Katie is surprised to learn that Brooke asked him to leave, but also senses that Thorne still has a thing for her sister. Even though she will not give up to Thorne that her new lover is Wyatt, Katie offers Thorne a place to stay. Ridge and Brooke enjoy an afternoon of leisure as a newly engaged couple. Brooke encourages Ridge to cut Thorne some slack and improve his relationship to his brother. Liam confides in Wyatt that Steffy is concerned about pregnancy in light of her previous miscarriage. As Bill nervously paces the hallways, Steffy learns the identity of her baby's father from Dr. Campbell: it's Liam. Steffy is tearfully relieved and Bill who shows up shortly later assures her that everything is how it is supposed to be. They embrace as Bill tells Steffy that no one must ever know about their affair.
