The 10th Kingdom Ratings & Reviews
- oddryamaz17 February 2026This is one of my favorite gems that no one’s ever heard about.
- Richard18 October 2025Bought this one in the bargain bin DVD with a faded cover and that early 2000s fantasy vibe. Watched it as an adult and liked it more than I expected. It’s a miniseries that throws a modern father and daughter into a parallel universe where fairy tales are real, but broken. Snow White, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood are history now. Trolls, goblins and a power-hungry Evil Queen run the show. The tone flips between campy, heartfelt and weirdly dark. Scott Cohen as Wolf steals the whole thing, part romantic lead, part comic relief. It’s long, sometimes clunky, but full of charm. The effects are dated, the pacing uneven, but the world building is rich and the cast goes all in. Felt like watching a bedtime story got hijacked by adult themes and cheeky writing.
