Where to Watch Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi

- LD_50July 17, 2026I hesitate to critique what is essentially a "kid's show", but I have to say that while the arcs are interesting to flesh out characters from the prequel trilogy as well as following up with more perspectives from fan favorites, this short collection of stories doesn't exactly justify its existence. Some episodes are strangely shallow in showing us the inner challenges, development, and turmoil of characters in comparison to some of the more substantial arcs in the next episode. There should have been better cohesion/connectivity across all of the episodes' respective arcs. Overall, not a bad a watch, but it's sort of in an awkward place of not quite being required viewing, but also not rewarding to watch for "fun" or extra details. If you like TCW, it's pretty much on par with S7 for better and for worse.

Certain events have far more weight, and certain character arcs have far more depth. On its own however it may be a difficult watch without additional context. Or feel like a waste of time. Its the unfortunate truth that if your not a fan or watching in chronological order this content may make you feel as though your missing something.
