- Colonel Ron Aronoff - U.S.A.R.March 14, 2026Actually 0 stars would have said it all. Kurtzman made Chris Pine vomit from this garbage. I love what Giamatti said: 'you can only do so much with the material they handed me.' He lives in Guilford, CT and I saw him in Bishop's Orchards and asked how's the show going. He did the Giamatti eye roll. Says it all. Only someone of an enervated intellect, an epicene male or a complete stoned out drunkard would like this horse manure. Only Epstein & Diddy's buttboy Moondog would like this trailer trash as his brain noetically rotted from sucking on too many "Diddy shakes." Look at the photo he wears the dress in that family. Anthony Burgess is changing his masterpiece. Alex will be forced to watch all 10 episodes for his dehumanization treatment in "A Clockwork Orange." I feel terrible for Alex, that is a crime against humanity. If you like this, you already been dehumanized.
- Lord JugginsJanuary 16, 2026Well, I’ve only watched the first episode so far, didn’t really know what to expect after recent series… I’m very impressed, both with the concept, the casting and the pace of the show in episode 1, chemistry between the cast straight away from episode 1 is to be applauded. If the rest of the series keeps up this quality it will make for excellent viewing….
- @F_ReK.i5--January 20, 2026Star trek is dead. The producers of Academy took the skin suits of Star Trek and dropped them into whatever the opposite of Star Trek is. In Academy Klingons are not Klingons. Captains are not captains. Even the bridge of a star ship isn't Star Trek but a ballroom. Holograms in communication messages have substance which makes no sense if you're communicating with an enemy. Captains sit in their bridge chair like their in a coffee shop trying to nap. I thought Discovery was bad, this takes bad to a whole new level. It is clear Paramount's intent is to ruin Star Trek and make it so bad, it cannot be recovered. Old fans are out and have given up; and with this slop there will never be new fans.
- TinMan13aMarch 12, 2026Long time Trekkie here. I REALLY enjoyed this show. It's fresh. It's fun. I grew up on TNG, DS9, and VOY but the heart of trek is in here too. It's an awkward start, much like those first days of school. But by the end of the season the characters are full and realized and I'm fully on board for where they're off too next.
- Ricardo Arnaz CPA, ACCA USN-retiredMarch 12, 2026Kurtzman was able to destroy 60 years in one show with this garbage: Paramount's Kathleen Kennedy. I know some individuals cannot take a negative review, but it shows more on their epicene, paucity of discernment of the brain. MOONDOG AS HE LIKES BIDEN& BIDEN IS BRAINDEAD!! They only know to hurl bigoted comments as myself being Hispanic and that upsets them that I can think on my 2 feet and not become some indoctrinated intellectually enervated individual. Chris Pine agrees!
- Jay OroscoJanuary 18, 2026Was initially skeptical of a Youth Audience show, but what can you do when it's about young cadets learning to be officers. Once you get past that, it's a wonderful addition to the new era of Star Trek. Keep an eye out for cameos and even recurring roles played by previous show casts.
