Season 1
The serial follows the work of the specialists in the radiology department of a general hospital. Many patients are referred to them for diagnosis and begin by undergoing either X-Ray or CT/MRI scans before diagnoses including treatment options. One expert is not good at communication while another has to live up to the family's expectations and achievements.

He meets Mr. Kikujima, a world renowned photographer, and tries to find the cause for his severe headaches when everyone else believes it's the rupture of an aneurysm. He also meets his childhood friend, Amakasu An who stood up for him when he was bullied during his childhood. - The 1 in 500,000
E2The 1 in 500,000Chiba Kentaro goes to the hospital with his mom for a knee check-up. Amakasu diagnoses it as growing pains but Igarashi thinks otherwise. Thus, Hirose convinces the team to help her with the re-examination. Meanwhile, Amakasu does something unexpected when she calls Igarashi into the meeting room. - Real Family
E5Real FamilyFujimoto Naoki is found dead by his younger brother, Yuta, and the hospital wants to perform Ai (Autopsy Imaging) to determine the real cause of death. After performing Ai, Igarashi detects abnormalities in Naoki's liver and believes the cause of death to be an unusual one. The story takes an unexpected turn and it brings Naoki's stepfather, Mr. Fujimoto, to realise the truth that he never knew. Dr. Kaburagi insists on performing laparotomy which would leave a scar on her body. Amakasu feels hopeless because she lacks experience in the treatment and has to give in to Dr. Kaburagi's decision. When another patient is admitted into the hospital and requires the same treatment, the radiology team teams up with Amakasu and performs the impossible. - Childhood Love

Maki's husband returns to the hospital to ask for Nokishita's help, but runs into Igarashi instead. E8Behind The MaskWakai Youko goes to the hospital for an MRI scan because of abdominal pain. Igarashi questions Dr. Kaburagi's diagnosis during the meeting and the news travel to Amakasu. She review the scan again and believes that Igarashi is right. Both of them suspect that the patient is suffering from a rare disease. Onodera finds out about Igarashi's true identity and helps to keep it a secret, but the secret is leaked as well. - Brothers In Arms

They suspect child abuse, but it turns out to be something more severe. Seeing the trouble he caused, Igarashi makes a decision that impacts each of the Radiation House members. What will happen to Igarashi and Amakasu? Will Igarashi finally tell her the truth about their childhood promise?
