Where to Watch PLUR1BUS - S1 • E7
- catzoDecember 20, 2025I could watch Manousos traverse the South American coastline learning english for hours. This episode might be a litmus test on whether you have the patience for this series or not. For me, its the perfect kind of (semi) hard sci-fi – thought-provoking, character-driven and mostly sans-cgi. Took off a half-star for how unsubtle and on-the-nose the song selection was for Carol's scenes.
- shirazesatJanuary 12, 2026Just when you think there's no-one as irritating or as stubborn as Carol, we get a closer look at Manousos to prove we mustn't limit our imagination. Heck, there's probably someone out there worse than Manousos. Again, respect where it's due: he has his moral compass guiding him, and (like Carol) he isn't selfish. Personally, I like people and comfort. I'm interested in others, even if they're nothing like me, and even if they may have been my enemy. I can't relate to these defenders of the earth, but that means they're far better than me. Beautiful scenery in this one: maybe to show it's worth fighting for. But isn't the fact that there is no more fighting reason enough to accept the new order? Haven't all wars we've ever fought been done in the name of bringing Peace? Of bringing Justice, Unity, Respect?
- belgradebcDecember 13, 2025It's clear the writer cannot live up to the premise of the show from the pilot so they are prolonging the show with filler episodes and dragging it through the mud. Instead of an interesting puzzle to solve, this will be an emotional drama of how Carol braves the challenges of this htpothetical world.
- leeartleeDecember 12, 2025Clearly one of those “set up” episodes. I could see people HATING this one because there’s…. well there’s not much going on. Barely any dialog. Very little character development. I mean half the episode you’re just following someone on a car trip. Having said that, some important things do happen and you get to a satisfying conclusive point. But more than anything, it makes me want to see the next episode. If a tv episode does that, is it a success?
