No Man's Land dives into the depths of the Syrian civil war through the eyes of Antoine, a young French man, in search for his estranged, presumed to be dead sister. While unraveling the mystery, piece by piece, Antoine ends up joining forces with a unit of Kurdish female fighters, fierce women and ISIS' biggest nightmare, and the ragtag group of international idealists who have travelled to help them fight.

Episode 1A young Parisian couple are embarking on fertility treatment when the man, Antoine, becomes convinced he saw his sister in news footage from Syria. The same sister who supposedly died two years before. He makes a rash decision.

Episode 2Three childhood friends from London, Iyad, Paul and Nasser enter the fray. Antoine finds himself in the middle of a fire fight and recalls the aftermath of Anna’s death. A dedicated Kurdish YPJ soldier, Sarya, is sent on a new mission.

Episode 3The Jihadis are keen to prove their dedication to the caliphate but struggle to cut ties with their pasts and lives back home. After proving himself useful, an international crew of YPJ volunteers take Antoine under their wing.

Episode 4Light is shed on what happened in Antoine’s family before Anna disappeared. In the present, Sarya gives Antoine weapons training and they begin to understand each other. ISIS mount a ferocious attack on a village.

Episode 8ISIS reinforcements are pouring to the area of the assassination, forcing Anna to run. Nasser is evacuated to ISIS HQ but Paul discovers his betrayal. At a secure location, Stanley introduces Nasser to his new handler: Anna.
