Petty thieves and pickpockets, annoying gypsies and beggars of all stripes, drunkards, tramps and professional beggars - here they will always find their victims. This is their own world, living according to special laws, where everyone has their own strictly guarded territory: where the gypsies "work", there is no way for tramps, just as professional paths of thieves and beggars do not intersect. It has its own harsh life, and therefore the work of local operatives is especially dangerous and difficult. There are three of them - Captain Valery Drobot, Lieutenant Mikhail Golovin and Major San Sanych.
