As Sultan Mehmed prepares for the great siege, he aims to breach the walls and enter the Golden Horn. He assigns critical responsibilities to his trusted men and plans who will sit on the throne during his absence. He must appoint someone to the Rumelia Beylerbeyship after Hamza is wounded, with Çandarlı Halil Pasha and Zağanos Pasha's input.
