The series revolves around Fred Schuit (Rijk de Gooyer), who lives in an old working class neighbourhood in Amsterdam. Fred is a curmudgeonly old man who manages to antagonise anyone who crosses his path, as he criticises everything and everyone. A top-notch Dutch series full of black humour.
