Thirty-somethings Brendan and Kelly Walsh have lived in Washington, D.C. for the past seven years and are now expecting a child. They currently live in a 750-square foot apartment in the Adams Morgan neighborhood in D.C. With limited storage space and a baby on the way, they'd love to find a larger home where their living room doesn?t do triple duty as a dining room and guest bedroom. Home prices in downtown D.C. have pushed their search into Alexandria, Virginia where they hope to find a condo that's close to the city and has plenty of restaurants and entertainment options nearby.
