PAUL does many things for WINNIE in order to give her confidence in the surgery. ANNIE is very moved by his act and fights hard on WINNIE’s husband’s case. TRACY senses distance between her and MC, so she sees him less. PAUL is tied up by work and still absent from class. CHRIS says something bad about PAUL during the class and gets scolded by ANSON.
STEVEN and FONG both like each other, but they do not develop further because STEVEN is unsure about their future. WINNIE’s surgery is successful and her husband wins his lawsuit. Unfortunately, the doctors find some cancer cells in her heart. When she is dying, she accepts the fact calmly.
