E1DadGustavo "Guga" Kuerten spends his first right years at a club playing sports with his father Aldo. Aldo notices his talent for tennis and asks Larri Passos to train him. Larri promises to do it when Guga is older. This promise gains more weight when Aldo passes away from a heart attack. Larri coaches Guga until 1997, when, despite being an unknown player, manages to win Roland Garros. - Rice and Beans
E2Rice and BeansIn 1998, Guga returns to Roland Garros and loses to Marat Safin in the second round. In 1999, he suffers a quarterfinal defeat to Andrei Medvedev. When he comes back in 2000, he finally wins quarterfinals, in which he beats Kafelnikov, who then gives him the nickname of the "Picasso" of tennis. He then defeats Ferrero in the semifinal and Norman in the final, becoming two-time champion. - Agassi and Sampras
E3Agassi and SamprasAfter winning Roland Garros, Guga and Larri Passos envision reaching number one. To do so, Guga must win the Masters Cup 1000 tournament in Lisbon. Despite losing to Agassi in the first game and with the help of his mother to get back on his feet, he perseveres. E4Heart and SoulIn 2001, Guga returns to Roland Garros as number one, during the peak of Brazilian tennis. He reaches the final to face Alex Corretja, who enters the court ready to win. Despite the hardships of the match, Guga manages to defeat him. To celebrate conquering the tournament for a third time, he draws his famous heart on the court's ground, which will remain in the sport's history.
