- ricomckee2025年11月9日Really great follow up to a phenomenal first season. They handle the death of their costar with grace while staying true to the story. Some fun cameos as well. Definitely a great build to the Boys Series finale.
- cultfilmliker2025年10月26日Dumb and cheesy and better than I expected still
- Big Hulky2025年10月22日== General Issues I had with S02, mainly the last two episodes. == {Spoilers below} - Scenes that needed more time to increase their impact. The two notable ones are Polarity's micro-tears being fixed in an under 1-minute scene, and Cate's brain damage being healed in the same way, restoring her powers. -- Polarity's micro-tears of his neural pathways is the cause of his son's death, and the reason for him not using his powers as often as he would like to. He can just as easily die like his son did if he pushes his powers hard enough. You would think him getting his powers restored would be a massive scene knowing that his power alone was shown to stop Cipher's. Instead, we get a happy laugh/cry, "Thank you." to Marie, and scene over. It's like 50-something seconds of a scene after he regains consciousness from his seizure. --- The same rushed nonsense for Cate's brain damage being repaired to restore her full powers. This is after Marie tells her she doesn't want to fix her, even scoffing at her for saying that her not fixing her powers is "Not listening to reason." when speaking with Polarity. However, she does it anyway after her, Emma, and Cate have a heart-to-heart. - The season ending felt rushed. Starlight screwing off for the entire season, and coming back after everything is done. "i CaN't BeLiEvE i WaS tRicKed. WaNt To JoiN mY TeAm?". -- It is clumsily thrown together so these stories won't interfere with "The Boys" S05's. - People for absolutely no reason believing Godolkin, a man who died 40+ years ago, is alive, and wants them to come to teach a class... Why would anyone in their right mind willing believe this story and attend the class. -- Adding to the last bit, Marie does a livestream to inform everyone to not believe Godolkin, and that if you do, you'll be in danger, despite giving them no reason not to. She says to not trust him, but gives no reasoning as to why, like the fact that Cipher wasn't real, and it was Godolkin controlling him, that Godolkin's plan is to "Cull the herd.", which would likely be 90%+ of the school's population. - Predictable scenes like "Marie" giving a massive speech before killing everyone instead of doing it right away, Polarity swooping in and stopping her, saving the day. - This one is from S02E07, but Marie lifting her friends and telling Cate to push them to stay away from her while she confronts Cipher. This scene comes after Marie berating Cate for being Vaught's puppet, pushing anyone they said to, betraying the group, etc. Very out of character for Marie.
