A man fleeing into a forest tries to stop a car, but is deliberately ran over, fatally. Reuther and police detectives Klar and Fischer investigate the fancy residential neighborhood, which isn't very talkative. The victim had an affair with his hated neighbor's wife, who is missing. An older female corpse is dug up at the forest border. The heiress's fiance urgently needed her inheritance, and his mates practices illegal hunt, with the forester's complicity.
