Hospitalized in an emergency room after being trapped in a fire by Atocha's revenge, Gus and little Pau fight for their lives. Sadly, Leonel witnesses his little daughter slip away from this world. Aware of the tragedy Leonel and his family have experienced, Alba discovers that her grandmother may be a suspect behind the threat she made to the landowner. She also discovers that he has the power to ruin them due to his immense debts.
