While boasting recent successes against the Latino Male Noche gang, state attorney Nicholas Chandler is shot from a passing car. CSI soon traces henchman Felix Medina, but his pro deo lawyer is murdered, like less violent present gang leader Armando Salazar, and Felix's kid son is kidnapped to blackmail him into silence. Behind all this is a masked monster from Horatio and Eric's nightmares, Memmo Fierro, who claims his drug baron status back.
