Angie urges Curly to sort Reg out, but Reg refuses to back down over the modelling. Alf is fed up with Alec's slowness as a campaign manager. Alec makes Jack deliver leaflets, but Deirdre's is upset when Alf attacks her marital status in his leaflets. Ken tells Deirdre she has his support 100% and accuses Alf of propaganda and Phil supports this view. Emily and Percy canvas for Deirdre. Phil tells Jim Andy can stay at school and work for him in the holidays and weekends.Vera dreams about taking Mrs MG's job, and Joss offers to forge references for the Duckworth's.
