Vera worries that Jack is going to be sacked. He returns to the Rovers wearing Don's trousers, which don't fit him. Nicky causes trouble at the café by kicking the fruit machine. Gail is impressed when martin takes Nicky of for the day to play golf and Nicky himself, has a great time. Maurice shows Mike a map of his plans and Mike agrees with Maurice about bringing in a valuer to assess a price. Dawn finds out that Maurice has bought the Community Centre and Mike tells him this means the price will have to go up.
