Towards the end of the seventies, 'Carlos' and his partners establish a base in Budapest. Here, behind the Iron Curtain, a network of contacts is established from Romania, Libya and Syria, among others. 'Carlos' lives as a European terrorist godfather and deals in arms sales. But times change, the Berlin Wall falls, and Carlos flees to Sudan. He is eventually extradited to France where he is now imprisoned.
