- Scott PhelpsApril 13, 2025What started as a clever, tech-inspired, dark psychological thriller episode - reminiscent of Black Mirror of old (and back when Brooker's writing delivered) - was ultimately ruined by the far-fetchedness off it's absurd and cringe-worthy poor CGI fantasy ending. This episode could have left us with a brilliant "non-cathartic" ending if it cut to credits directly after the immediate shock moment of the final scene. At least providing us with a somewhat familiar feeling of early Black Mirror episodes that left you pondering open endless possibilities of untold story whilst you sat speechless as the end credits rolled. Instead, there is a sense of wasted time and rage at such poor and almost child-like story writing to leave you disappointed with this conclusion.

- cultfilmlikerApril 12, 2025Tired set up, tired of “gaslighting”, also I will reiterate I do not like psychological manipulation plots like this lol I’m a caged animal I’ll just attack and lose it. That said, I’m glad it leaned into the unrealistic so I didn’t have an anxiety attack the whole episode. How did it take so long for these guys to Google that Could easily see the Verity role being played by Nicole Kidman (twenty years ago) or Any Adams (10 years ago [and if the character was American]) Rosy McEwen killed it tho! SPOILER ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Gets real Everything Everywhere All At Once at the end lol
