What started as a clever, tech-inspired, dark psychological thriller episode - reminiscent of Black Mirror of old (and back when Brooker's writing delivered) - was ultimately ruined by the far-fetchedness off it's absurd and cringe-worthy poor CGI fantasy ending.
This episode could have left us with a brilliant "non-cathartic" ending if it cut to credits directly after the immediate shock moment of the final scene. At least providing us with a somewhat familiar feeling of early Black Mirror episodes that left you pondering open endless possibilities of untold story whilst you sat speechless as the end credits rolled.
Instead, there is a sense of wasted time and rage at such poor and almost child-like story writing to leave you disappointed with this conclusion.
