Alcock and Gander is a British sitcom that aired on ITV in 1972. Starring Beryl Reid and Richard O'Sullivan, it lasted for one series. It was written by Johnnie Mortimer and Brian Cooke, who later wrote Man About the House, where O'Sullivan was the lead male character. It was made for the ITV network by Thames Television.

Episode TwoThe landlord, who is unaware of Mr. Alcock's death, wants the Alcock Companies to vacate the premises so that he can sell the building. The lease has three more years to run, so Marigold doesn't want to accommodate him. Unfortunately, the lease was in her late husband's name and didn't transfer to her upon his death. She convinces dim-witted Ernest to pretend to be her husband. Meanwhile, Richard Gander decides that he needs life insurance. - Episode ThreeE3
Episode ThreeMiffed that Marigold doesn't approve of his various business efficiency schemes, Gander gives notice that he's quitting and begins looking for new employment. Marigold decides to advertise for a replacement by posting a card in the local newsagent's window, alongside adverts for various questionable services. - Episode SixE6
Episode SixA flashback to the day Richard Gander became a partner. A number of unhappy customers who purchased an Alcock's Continental Tour to Spain are in the hallway outside the office door demanding their money back. Marigold says she'll speak to a spokesman and Gander is elected. She must also deal with a customer who is less than pleased with the book he ordered from "Artistic Books, Soho, Ltd."
