- Matthias_812April 4, 2025No joke I straight up adore this movie, it may just be one of my most rewatched movies ever. Even for today it's a strong backwoods slasher piece taking me back to the awesome early 00's era of horror. I feel like this was an influence to the more gore soaked trend that blew up in that decade. I even love the franchise as a whole only mildly disliking the fifth one. Still gushing over Eliza Dushku.
- ScottMarch 28, 2025Cast is everything. I say it every review. The cast members were interesting and entertaining to watch and it kept my interest. The storyline was great and the flow of the movie was solid. It's one of those movies that make you wait to hit the restroom. Not a lot of gore, which is not my thing, so it was nicer to see a more suspenseful movie instead of pure chop-em-up, which gets old after a while. It makes going into the deep woods on a road trip an eerie experience.

- Kevin WardJuly 2, 2025Pretty great backwoods slasher. Some impressive blood effects and bloody disgusting creature design for our hillbilly killers. Loved how they seemed to enjoy the hunt. I was kind of hoping they would have some devious hunting traps setup in the woods that would catch one of two of the group. Carly, maybe? Carly would definitely walk into a human trap. This even had a few jump scares that really got me, which isn’t normally the case. Finale was a little anticlimactic, but I really enjoyed it overall. There was even a post credit scene? Weird, but I’ll take it. I’m intrigued enough to potentially checkout the extended WT universe.
