The Trail of the Lonesome Pine Ratings & Reviews
Mister Arn
May 17, 2025
There is a lot going on in this movie. There is a love triangle, a feud, and people getting dragged into the modern world. It is an above-average film with lots of sadness and no easy answers.
Esquire Magazine
Meyer Levin (Patterson Murphy)
Aside from the colors of nature, and a couple of swell fistfights, it's nothing special.
Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews
Dennis Schwartz
An historical film. It's the first outdoor film to be shot in the three color Technical process.
Antagony & Ecstasy
Tim Brayton
[Not] worth fighting for above and beyond its unquestionable historic importance.
