The Return Ratings & Reviews
- RyezooFebruary 4, 2025A good scene here and there, and solid performances from the two leads can't save this snail pace of a movie that drudges on. I wanted to like this, I wanted this to be epic, but I found myself twiddling my thumbs scene after scene. Great movie to fall asleep to and hopefully you wake up for the last 25 minutes.
- DadJuly 24, 2025A tough and gritty movie that has you cheering for the hero all the way. Revenge is a dish best served cold (Old Klingon saying)
- qmechanMarch 6, 2025Odysseus must face the suitors Who seek to be Hellenic looters Of his Ithican home And his wife, with her own Problems giving these suitors the boot-ers.
- sam.54February 2, 2025Great, gritty, more realistic take on the last few chapters of Homer's Oddessy. No magic or gods here, just raw realism. It's a bit of a slow burn, but that adds to the power of the more "war veteran returning" focus of this version. I do wish this production had just a bit more budget. A lot of the shots are very tight where I'd like to see some bigger sets, and a lot of the town and court shorts are very sparse where some extras would add to make Ithica feel more like a kingdom as opposed to a small settlement. But aside, Raph Finnes is great and so is the lighting, makeup, and costumes. It looks very much like we're transported back to Greece
- MIDJET76January 1, 2025Slow burner, never really gets going. If your expecting a lot of action then you will be sorely disappointed.
- Carl Leo AryeeDecember 29, 2024Very very low budget movie
