- Daniel Gustavsson17 octobre 2024The surprisingly bad sequel. The loss of focus on Neo in this one was a mistake. Everyone was weirded out when this came out back in the days. I think they just upped the scope on this and just lost sight of the project entirely. However, the philosophical stuff is still great and is this movies saving grace.

The graphic stylings do not cease to please and the direction of the story is both unexpected—through the use of innovative characters and lore—and at the same time a smooth addition. Full of action and technology, it is a true gem.

- skrishnan376 août 2025It's not the best. It's a big drop from the original (which is a near perfect movie IMHO), but it pushed current technology at the time for new and exciting fight scenes and to this day, has one of the best car chase scenes in all of movie history.
