Druhé pokračování trilogie Matrix nás opět zavede do temného světa budoucnosti ovládaného stroji. Lidstvo stále trpí v otroctví virtuální reality, z kterého ho může osvobodit jen Vyvolený. Nea s Morpheem a Trinity čeká boj s armádou strojů a jejich arzenálem počítačově nelidských schopností a zbraní. Pokud ale chtějí zastavit zotročování lidstva, není jiná možnost než boj na život a na smrt. Nezbývá jim nic jiného než proniknout hluboko do struktur Matrixu a během 72 hodin objevit a zlikvidovat centrum Zion i s jeho pomocnými jednotkami. Neo ve svých temných nočních můrách vidí, že Trinitiným osudem je smrt. Dokáže se znovu vzepřít osudu a svou mocí zastavit nekonečné útoky strojů?

    The surprisingly bad sequel. The loss of focus on Neo in this one was a mistake. Everyone was weirded out when this came out back in the days. I think they just upped the scope on this and just lost sight of the project entirely. However, the philosophical stuff is still great and is this movies saving grace.

    Just so cool. Keanu is the one and the man. Only thing I didn't like are the white dreaded guys. Cool skill just poor costuming.

    A noble attempt at a sequel to the unbelievable first installment. The graphic stylings do not cease to please and the direction of the story is both unexpected—through the use of innovative characters and lore—and at the same time a smooth addition. Full of action and technology, it is a true gem.

    The Matrix Reloaded has everything you could possibly want from a summer blockbuster but it like its predecessor has a heck of a lot more and while Reloaded is not as good as the first Matrix film it sure is close to the standard of the original.

    It's not the best. It's a big drop from the original (which is a near perfect movie IMHO), but it pushed current technology at the time for new and exciting fight scenes and to this day, has one of the best car chase scenes in all of movie history.

    Despite being a massive decrease from the original, this was still a really enjoyable sequel. Great action, great visuals, and a solid story make it a great movie.

    Pacing is good. It's a sequel but not a conclusion in the trilogy so from that perspective it fairs better than most comparable sophmore efforts. Agent Smith really shines, I was rooting for him the whole time.
