- ርልዪረAugust 14, 2025It was never going to be an easy task rebooting and updating one of the most popular and greatest movies EVER (the original Magnificent Seven). A task made even harder as the Western movie has long since fallen out of favour with Cinemagoers, and in Hollywood. However this movie shows modern Cinemagoers just how good a modern Western can be, and delivers everything you could hope for. Action packed, tense and brutal in equal measure. This time though, instead of protecting Mexican Farmers from Bandits the Seven are protecting a Frontier Town from a corrupt Mining Tycoon who has his own personal Army at his disposal. This movie follows the strengths of the original, with a good cast, likeable Character's and it has some of the best action sequences and shootouts in any Western ever. After Yul Brynner, George Kennedy and Lee Van Cleef, Denzel Washington is terrific in the lead role. From meeting the gunslingers and building the team, to the gut wrenching final shootout. Is the Seven good ? . . NO, IT'S MAGNIFICENT
