- ርልዪረ14 augusti 2025It was never going to be an easy task rebooting and updating one of the most popular and greatest movies EVER (the original Magnificent Seven). A task made even harder as the Western movie has long since fallen out of favour with Cinemagoers, and in Hollywood. However this movie shows modern Cinemagoers just how good a modern Western can be, and delivers everything you could hope for. Action packed, tense and brutal in equal measure. This time though, instead of protecting Mexican Farmers from Bandits the Seven are protecting a Frontier Town from a corrupt Mining Tycoon who has his own personal Army at his disposal. This movie follows the strengths of the original, with a good cast, likeable Character's and it has some of the best action sequences and shootouts in any Western ever. After Yul Brynner, George Kennedy and Lee Van Cleef, Denzel Washington is terrific in the lead role. From meeting the gunslingers and building the team, to the gut wrenching final shootout. Is the Seven good ? . . NO, IT'S MAGNIFICENT

- Gianni Cavuoto20 december 2025The magnificent seven (2016) This is a great movie, I mean a really great movie. The biggest problem with this movie is that it calls itself The Magnificent Seven. This is a fine movie that takes some of the elements of the original movies but the story has changed so much they should have called it something different. In the end I really like the movie and you feel connected to the characters enough that you feel for them. The ending was quite nice too…..but I still say this ain't no Magnificent Seven. ……and why did they NOT play the whole theme song at the end!!!!
- Timeless Cinema9 april 2026A fun, action, thrill ride that delivers a good story. If the action was shot better, and the pacing smoothed out in the finale, I'd rate it higher. A must watch for anyone that enjoys westerns.
