The Death of Stalin Ratings & Reviews
- Cubane6d agoA hilarious and dark film that I've found to be shockingly accurate in the broad strokes of its history, despite the satirical tone. The more you look at any example of real world regime change, the more you see this movie. Comrade Beria would have had a promising career in the ministry of fisheries.
- KaldekAugust 30, 2025When Trump dies it will be just like this.
- erich694July 1, 2025Awesome display of drama and comedy. The all-star cast works well together along with the settings and background music.
- 0 1November 10, 2025One of the greatest pieces of satire written. I've read certain scenes are actually historically accurate: the piano concert scene.
- Sergey PogudoAugust 24, 2025This movie exact about Soviet reality, but with great British humor. Definitely recommend.
- sopulaMarch 1, 2026more interesting as a satire than it was funny, very funny as well though. does well to show the general insanity of stalin's regime but also that these powerful men were just people generally trying to do the best they could the characters are all fantastic and quite likeable, mostly very serious actors also loved that it changed to a completely non-comedic tone by the end of the film
- M08YJuly 31, 2025The Death of Stalin is an excellent and well written comedy that makes full use of it's brilliant cast. Making a comedy around a time period of great suffering and fear was always going to be a challenge but the team behind this movie nailed it. For me, Jason Isaacs was the stand out comedy, charisma in spades here. The bluray was absolutely fine, audio and visuals all present and correct.
- NotoriousEdgeOctober 5, 2025One of the best movies of the last 10 years.
- Ben ZaaimanSeptember 6, 2025Brilliant tragicomedy of the machinations immediately after the death of Stalin. Steve Buschemi , Jeffrey Tambor, and the whole cast are at the top of their games!
- w2w4xFebruary 26, 2026Bloody Hilarious!
- spencer510February 3, 2026Good cheeky sarcastic humor... Almost to a fault!
- Mister ArnJanuary 3, 2026“The Death of Stalin” is a political satire that treats absurdity as a byproduct of power rather than a punchline. No one plays their character as funny; they play them as self-preserving, which makes the humor more unsettling. It doesn’t ask you to laugh at history so much as recognize how easily cruelty becomes procedural.
- Velja87November 23, 2025Wery disapoynting. Seems forced
