- RyezooFebruary 14, 2025Tatiana Maslany... I think I'm in love! I will for sure be binging Orphan Black in the near future. She might of even stole this movie away from Jake Gyllenhaal! This is a powerful film. At times difficult to watch. The performances were so far the best I've seen this year. Everything felt so real. The amount of emotion conveyed by Gyllenhaal and Maslany is literally pouring off the screen. This had some of the best use of close ups this year and all together gorgeous cinematography. The struggle Jeff Bauman and those around him is unlike any biopic I've seen in some time. The questions he struggles with, how he's going on with life, how he doesn't always make the best choices! It's just something else. The more I think about it after the fact the more impactful this movie becomes for me. This is an inspiring movie and I'm glad I got to see this incredible mans journey portrayed so delicately. A must watch.
